WWWednesday: Books About Books

WWWednesday

I was checking out my bookshelves, and scrolling online book sites this past week, looking at what I’ve got on my TBR to read this summer, and checking out what looks interesting, releasing later this year. I have realized that I have a thing for books about books!!

I really don’t think I’m the only one with this particular bookish love, as evidenced by HOW. MANY. THERE. ARE!! Whether they’re about books, themselves… or bookstores, or libraries, or authors… readers just seem to eat them up! I wonder if it has to do with seeing ourselves (or someone with our same interests) in the story? Could be… maybe?

Here are a few “books about books” that I’ve either read, or are on my TBR list.

And here are a few I’m looking forward to checking out, when they release later this year!

Have you read any of these? Do you have others to add? Why do YOU think they’re so popular?
