“Ten Things” Readers Should Know About Me And My Writing

A lot of my ideas for my books come from my real life and/or experiences.
My books are not your mainstream, typical paranormal romance with complex worlds.
Most of them are light-hearted, positive, fun, fast paced, fantasy adventures filled with
humor.
Hubby and I are adventurers by heart. We have visited over 30 states plus one country
off our bucket list: Canada. I have included several places we have traveled to in my
books.
I enjoy writing about angels and including steamy sex scenes, but, in reality, I am a
highly spiritual person.
I have a fan group called the Kittens but I’ve never owned a cat.
When I wrote my character Josh, in Nightfall, I gave him all the qualities I would search
for in a man
I only write when I am in the mood to write and I never outline my books
My characters, literally, talk to me when I write and they change the direction that I want
to go in, quite frequently. This happened to me, recently, in my work in progress. I had a
scene in my head and was gearing up to write it but after I finished the scene it was
completely different and went in an opposite direction. Thankfully, the alternate scenes
that I write make sense and fit the book. Most of the time, the new scene actually makes
the book much better.
Sometimes I yell at my characters while other times I might cry. (I try to feel each scene
as I write it because I want this embedded in my words and for my readers to enjoy and
go through the same emotions I did while writing the book.) Yet sometimes making
scenes realistic tugs on my emotions and I end up in tears.
I don’t think I will ever stop being surprised when a reader gushes over my books. (If a
reader comes up to me and tells me they love my books, I will fangirl over them every
time. I can’t help it. I enjoy it when readers like my writing style).

Macon is a temptation that will surely end up bad news for her, in the end. She knows his kind. She has dated men like him, before.
Yet, there remains a part of her that wants to bed him and bring him to his knees.
Still, Nina is not into anything permanent with anyone, anymore.

Will Macon and Nina realize that fated mates are better together than separate?
Or will Macon’s desire for Nina remain unfulfilled?
